“Mother of the Park” Sue Course receives OAM

Sue Course “Mother of the Park” has received an Order of Australia Medal in the Australia Day round of awards – for services to conservation, the environment and the arts. Darebin and Banyule Council Sustainability Award

The DPA named winner of the community organisation section of the 2012 Darebin Sustainable Homes and Communities awards. The award is very much a tribute to all of those who have worked so hard over decades to transform a weed-infested horse paddock and former tip into the delightful conservation park we have today.
