The Junior Ranger Club

Kids under 16 can join the Junior Ranger Club to learn about nature and participate in fun environmental activities.

Junior Ranger memberships cost $2 a year, and kids can attend as many or as few events as they like. Junior Rangers are also eligible to enter the end of year prize draw for tickets to the Junior Ranger camp out in the parklands.

Junior Ranger activities:

* Bonfire night

* Wildlife spotlighting walks with the park’s rangers

* Catch-a-Carp Day

* Water quality activities including painting platypus stencils on street drains around the park and water monitoring with the creek’s Water Watch officer

* Build a bird nest box workshop.

Congratulations to Isabelle, 9, who won the poster competition, and also to runners up Hayley and Brooke whose entries were great as well. Look out for Isabelle's poster around the parklands. And hope to see you at the 27 November park care day. We'll be growing native grasses for the parklands, so it should be fun. Full details on the events page.

Congratulations to the winners of the end of year prize draw - exclusive tickets to the fabulous Junior Ranger Camp Out.
